Today’s WordPress Bloganuary prompt is a fun one. To finish off the first week of Bloganuary, we are asked to write a short story or poem about rain. I decided to keep things simple and wrote a haiku about rain. A haiku is a Japanese short poem consisting of three lines and 17 syllables in the 5-7-5 pattern. Sometimes, it can be quick and easy to write.
So here is my haiku about rain:
Pitter, pattering
– Valerie of Venus & Vino
Raindrops slide down my window.
Oh, I love the sound.
